The long-awaited One Vanderbilt, the second tallest commercial skyscraper in New York City, opened last week and we are hugely proud we have been part of the project. With 77 floors and a height of 427 meters, One Vanderbilt redefines Manhattan skyline and represents a milestone in the redevelopment project involving Midtown East. One Vanderbilt Avenue will be the new headquarters of many of the main international financial, banking, legal and real estate companies, and is already rented for about 70%. The skyscraperfeatures excellent amenities, innovative office design, technology offerings, optimal sustainability practices and a prime location close to Grand Central Terminal Station.
The connection with Grand Central Terminal Station was the focus of our work: TIA took care of the materials for the construction of this connection, supplying about 1300 square meters of Botticino and respecting the high quality standards established during the visits of SL Green team and the architects of KPF at our company. Botticino is a privileged material, both for its indisputable beauty and elegance and for its great qualities of resistance. TIA also created several walls on the ground floor of the skyscraper, in line with the architectural and design choices of the project.
Next time you are New York, go and see the wonderful One Vanderbilt!
